Ian Turlo Fantastic vocals and composition. It's amazing to me two people can produce such a full sound. Favorite track: Pyramid Song.

That there, that's not me I go where I please I walk through walls I float down the Liffey I'm not here This isn't happening I'm not here, I'm not here In a little while I'll be gone The moment's already passed Yeah it's gone And I'm not here This isn't happening I'm not here, I'm not here Strobe lights and blown speakers Fireworks and hurricanes I'm not here This isn't happening I'm not here This isn't happening

Pyramid Song 03:30
I jumped in the river, what did I see? Black-eyed angels swam with me A moon full of stars and astral cars And all the figures I used to see Jumped in the river, what did I see? Black-eyed angels swam with me A moon full of stars and astral cars And all the figures I used to see All my lovers were there with me All my past and futures And we all went to heaven in a little row boat There was nothing to fear, nothing to doubt There was nothing to fear, nothing to doubt There was nothing to fear, nothing to doubt

I’ll drown my beliefs To have your babies I’ll dress like your niece And wash your swollen feet Just don’t leave Don’t leave I’m not living I’m just killing time Your tiny hands Your crazy kitten smile Just don’t leave Don’t leave And true love waits In haunted attics And true love lives On lollipops and crisps Just don’t leave Don’t leave Don’t leave Just don’t leave Don’t leave Don’t leave Don’t leave

about

Mikkel Cloud's debut EP features arrangements of three Radiohead songs in the duo’s unique and eclectic style. Over the course of 16 minutes, 'Transistor_1' realizes a rich sonic landscape where jazz sensibilities fuse with electronic textures and cinematic drama.

“It is hard to do Radiohead right. Mikkel Cloud has managed to capture the beauty and complexity of some of my favorite Radiohead songs.”
-Jowanna Lewis, Radio KSCR

The project started in February 2018 with their evolving and anthemic arrangement of “How to Disappear Completely” from Radiohead’s Kid A. Mikkel Cloud’s rendition departs drastically from the original, featuring a dynamic arc and haunting female vocals which tell the story in an entirely new context.

“…it’s apparent that they have no interest in offering photocopies. The only recognizable similarity between this song and its original is the lyrics. It’s truly gorgeous, especially in the way the duo builds the song from quiet anguish to powerful testimony.”
-Lee Anderson, Alphabet Pony

“I am delighted to say, I actually prefer Mikkel Cloud's versions to the original tracks, especially 'How to Disappear Completely'. The vocals are beautiful; ethereal, passionate and pure and the instrumentation is well done. I love the dynamic changes in this song, the balance and the shift as it swells and flows. Even running at just over 7 minutes, I was held captive listening until the end.”
-Andrea Poulis, Indie3Radio

“Mikkél & Cloud bring something original to fan favorite songs and B-sides that slam into your mind and dig into your heart from the very first listen.”
-D Grant Smith, The Appetizer Radio Show
